ORDER

New Delhi, the 28th May, 1999

S.O. 399(E).- In exercise of the powers conferred by sub-sections (1) and (3) of Section 3 of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1996 (29 of 1996), the Central Government hereby makes the following amendments in the Order of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests number S.O. 1004(E), dated, the 26th November 1998, namely :

In the said Order, in paragraph I,
(i) in serial number 1, for the words I"Principal Secretary, Science, Technology and Environment and Forests Wing, Orissa Secretariat," the words "Principal Secretary to Government, Forests and Environment Department, Government of Orissa, State Secretariaf' shall be substituted;

(ii) in serial number 2, for the word "Bsoard" the word "Board" shall be substituted;

(iii) in serial number.3, for the words "Research Station, Bhubaneswar", the words "Shantikunjalale, near Hotel Sea and Sand, Chakra Tirtha Road, Puri-752002." shall be substituted;

(iv) in serial number 4, for the words "Vice Chancellor, Sambalpur University", the words "Ex-Vice Chancellor, Sambalpur University, G/M-8, VSS Nagar, Bhubaneswar." shall be substituted;

(V) in serial number 5, for the words, "Joint Director, Directorate of Mining and Geology", the words "House No. 1, NABARD Colony, Baramunda" shall be substituted;

(vi) in serial number 7, for the words "Director, Science, Technology and Environment and Forests Wing, Orissa Secretariat", the words "Director, Forests and Environment (Environment) Department, Government of Orissa, State Secretariat" shall be substituted.
