NOTIFICATION

New Delhi, the 8th July, 1997

S.O. 493(E). - In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (3) of section (3) of the Environment (Protection) Act, 1986, the Central Government hereby makes the following further amendments in the notification of the Government of India in the Ministry of Environment and Forests No. S.O 88(E) dated the 6th February, 1997 namely :-

In the said notification, -

    (i) in paragraph 1 for serial No. (8) and the entries relating thereto the following shall be substituted, namely : -

      (8) Dr. Y.S. Yadava,
      Fisheries Development Commissioner,
      (Department of Agriculture and Cooperation)
      - Member Secretary

    (ii) in paragraph 5 for the words "Headquarters at Delhi" the words "Headquarters at Chennai (Tamilnadu)" shall be substituted.
