OB and other wastes should be dumped at identified sites using proper techniques and precautions. Dumps, if any, should be reclaimed suitably.
4	Masonry Stone Mine	M/s Anshul Mehta	Tehsil Alwar, District Alwar, Rajasthan	A-15011/9/99-IA.II(M) dated Jan 14, 2000	The government of Rajasthan has been requested to constitute a District level Committee under the Chairmanship of District Collector, Alwar to ensure effective monitoring of the compliance of the environmental protection measures. Unless this is done, the proponent will not go ahead with the implementation of this project.
5	Masonry Stone Mine	M/s Vivek Tyagi	Tehsil Alwar, District Alwar, Rajasthan	A-15011/9/99-IA.II(M) dated Jan 13, 2000	Mining should be started from top of the hillock by making benches instead of starting from the bottom of the hill. Excavation should not go beyond the ground level. The project authorities should obtain 'consent to operate' from the State Pollution Control Board before commencing work at site.
6	Masonry Stone Mine	M/s Navin Kumar Jain	Tehsil Alwar, District Alwar, Rajasthan	A-15011/9/99-IA.II(M) dated Jan 14, 2000	Project authority should scientifically reclaim / rehabilitate the mined out area in consultation with the Central Arid Zone Research Institute, Jodhpur. Plantation should also be raised on benches. Maintenance of plantation should be carried out till the crown of the trees is achieved above the grazing level.
7	Masonry Stone Mine	M/s Ajay Kumar Gupta	Tehsil Alwar, District Alwar, Rajasthan	A-15011/9/99-IA.II(M) dated Jan 14, 2000	Crushing operation should be carried out with adequate air pollution control measures.

Inactive dumps should be reclaimed suitably and planted all over. Reclamation measures to stabilize the dumps should be adhered to. Ambient air quality in the core zone for SPM, RPM, SO₂ NOx and CO should be carried out once in six months in consultation with the State Pollution Control Board.

At no time, the emission level should go beyond the stipulated standards. In the event of failure of pollution control system(s) adopted by the unit, the prospective unit should not be restarted until the control measures are rectified to achieve the desired efficiency.
2.	Expansion of Distillery Unit	M/s India Glycols Ltd.	Kashipur, Uttar Pradesh	J.11011/48/99-IA II dated Jan 20, 2000	The industry should ensure that the treated effluent and stack emissions from the unit are within the norms stipulated under the EPA rules or SPCB, whichever is more stringent. In case of process disturbances/failure of pollution control equipment adopted by the unit, the respective unit should be shut down and should not be restarted until the control measures are rectified to achieve the desired efficiency.
3.	Asbestos Gasket Manufacturing	M/s Perfect Circle Victor Ltd.	Mahalunge, Pune, Maharashtra	J.11011/59/99-IA II dated Jan 20, 2000	The project proponent shall adhere to the prescribed BIS standards and laws regarding use and handling of asbestos, safety of employees etc.
4.	Construction of Mahindra Beach Resort		Varca Village of Sacete Taluka, Goa	J.19011/10/98-IA III dated Jan 20, 2000	There shall be no withdrawal of groundwater for the purpose of the project. The project shall not be commissioned till the requisite quantity of water is made available by the PWD, Government of Goa.
