On behalf of the Ministry of Environment and Forests, our ENVIS Centre has brought out a booklet on Environmental Information System (ENVIS). This includes the Objectives, Responsibilities and the Focal Point of all the ENVIS Centres, and the Services offered by the Centers. The booklet also contains International Information Networking such as 1) ENVIS as UNEP s INFOTERRA National Focal Point, 2) ENVIS as Regional Service Centre (RSC) of INFOTERRA and 3) Sustainable Development Networking Programme (SDNP). We have also given major activities of all the ENVIS Centres. This booklet is available on direct request to the Director (ENVIS), Ministry of Environmental Forests, Paryavaran Bhawan. C.G.O.
